Ho Wood, or Cinnamomum camphora, is distilled from the bark of the ho tree. Its extraordinary level of calming linalool is wonderful for promoting a relaxing ambiance. It’s woody, floral, camphorous scent is similar to Rosewood Oil – and makes a great substitute since the Rosewood is threatened species, and should be avoided. The camphor in Ho Wood yields a cooling sensation when used topically, and inspires healthy emotion when used aromatically. Spice up the mood with its aphrodisiac properties!
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser. Make sure the room is well-ventilated to avoid the saturation of the air, as too much saturation can lead to headaches and nausea. 30-minute diffusions are enough to enjoy all the benefits of the oil.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
Blends well with Bergamot, Basil, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, and Cinnamon.
